Join the Haslemere Town Band

Would you like to play in the band ? - perhaps you played at school ? - maybe you have just moved to the area ?

We are always looking to fill vacancies and expand our membership. We are interested to hear from brass and percussion players of all ages, levels of ability, and experience. In most cases we can even provide an instrument !

The Band rehearses at Beacon Hill United Reformed Church (see map below) on Wednesday evenings from 7:45 - 9:45.

Learn a Brass Instrument

We're delighted to announce, our 'Training Band' programme has restarted. It's an exciting opportunity to learn a brass instrument, in a supportive group, at very low cost. The programme is primarily aimed at children 8yrs+ but we welcome adult learners too. Training band group lessons are free-to-attend for members of the band, and in most cases we can lend an instrument to get you started.

Training Band runs on Wednesdays 6:35pm to 7:15pm, at Beacon Hill URC Hall, Churt Road, Beacon Hill, GU26 6NL. You don't have to commit right away, come and try an instrument at any rehearsal night.
